Katydid Nymph Nectaring

A Scudder’s Bush Katydid, genus Scudderia, nymph (immature), family Tettigoniidae (the katydids) on a purple poppy mallow blossom. This nymph was about 1/8-inch long. Tiny young Katydids eat nectar as well as pollen. Note the pollen on this nymph’s feet.
