Pipevine Swallowtails

These butterflies love Butterfly Milkweed. Birds find the adults unpleasant to eat.
On the underside of the hindwings, there is one row of seven bright orange spots.
Caterpillars eat the leaves of Dutchman?s Pipe and Virginia Snakeroot.
